About Momants
Kevin, Mark and Jan Willem founded Momants in Amsterdam in 2025.
Jan Willem van der Meer is the CEO, Mark Wiggelaar the CTO and Kevin Westermeijer the CPO. Two of them built the platforms this industry sells its tickets through. The third built the AI. This page is what each of them did before, what each of them owns here, and where you can check it.
The founders
Who founded Momants?
Kevin and Jan Willem built platforms this industry already sells tickets through. Mark builds software that reads what people write and works out what they mean. Here is what each of them did, what each of them owns at Momants, and the outlet that reported it.
Attractions and commerce, since 2015

PreviouslyConvious
Kevin Westermeijer
CPO
Kevin started in December 2015 with Ticketoo, which sold attractions' unsold capacity straight to visitors. The technology held up and the consumer brand did not, which he said plainly in the Dutch press at the time, so he turned the product around and sold it to the operators instead, piloting at SEA LIFE Scheveningen and Body Worlds Amsterdam from October 2016. That became Convious, the Amsterdam commerce platform for the experience economy, which he co-founded with Camiel Kraan. In June 2018 he pitched Convious at the Get in the Ring global final in Cascais, where it took the Heavyweight title after beating more than 250 companies in the Dutch round, and by December 2021 it was working with more than 125 companies in 16 countries. In February 2023 he became chief commercial officer of LegalMatters.com, where Mark was already a partner and its chief technology officer.

AI and messaging, since 2022

PreviouslyLegalMatters
Mark Wiggelaar
CTO
Mark came at this from the technology rather than from ticketing. In January 2022 he became a partner and the chief technology officer of LegalMatters.com, through its acquisition of the internet company Montermedia, which registered, managed and monitored domain names. His work there was keeping clients' brands, designs and domains out of the reach of hacking, domain fraud, phishing and CEO fraud, using software the company wrote itself. He also co-founded Pulsoar and wrote its software himself: an app that read the messages arriving on and leaving a child's phone, sorted what it found into six kinds of risk, from name-calling and violence through to fraud and scams, and told the parent. He built the first version for his own household, because nothing he could buy did the job. The hard part of a fan agent is not writing the reply. It is reading what a real person means when they message at 23:00 and deciding what to do about it. Mark had already built that once.

Ticketing platforms, through the 2018 sale of Paylogic

PreviouslyPaylogic
Jan Willem van der Meer
CEO
Jan Willem spent more than a decade at Paylogic. He was its chief commercial officer when SFX Entertainment bought a majority stake in December 2013, and its chief executive when See Tickets, part of Vivendi, acquired the company from LiveStyle in April 2018. By then Paylogic was selling more than five million tickets a year in more than ten countries, for Tomorrowland, ID&T, Amsterdam Dance Event and Awakenings. The year before that he had told a Dutch marketing title the platform was processing around €300 million a year of its customers' revenue, and he made the argument this company is built on: fans buy far more than a ticket inside an event's checkout, and it is the relationship with the fan rather than the sale of the ticket that decides how an organiser does over time. He was running the checkout. The relationship belonged to nobody. He announced in July 2018 that he was leaving, twelve years in. He created The Chorus at Amsterdam Dance Event, which puts early-stage music companies in front of people who have already built one, and he is one of its mentors. Since October 2024 he has sat on the advisory board of the ticketing company Eventix.

We have built companies together before
Kevin and Mark
Mark joined LegalMatters.com as a partner and its chief technology officer in January 2022. Kevin came in as chief commercial officer in February 2023. By that November the two of them were building Pulsoar together, the app Mark wrote. Momants is the third company they have been in together.
Kevin and Jan Willem
They spent years at opposite ends of the same problem, one selling tickets for attractions and one selling tickets for festivals. Both of those worlds are wired into Momants today: Convious, the platform Kevin co-founded, is one of the ticketing systems the agent connects to, and so is See Tickets, the company that bought Paylogic.
Why we started it
Two of us had spent years inside the systems that sell the tickets. One of us had spent years teaching software to read what people actually mean when they write. From those two angles the same gap was visible. The transaction works. What comes after it is a mass email, a static FAQ page and a support inbox that answers when it can. We could not find the layer that lets an organiser hold that relationship in a conversation instead, so we are building it: one agent that answers a fan on the channel they already use, in the language they write in, at the hour they ask.
"As former ticketing founders, Kevin, Mark, and I know this industry inside out. We built Momants to solve the frustrating 'one size fits all' ticketing approach, from now on, you are in direct conversation with each of your visitors to offer them their best event experience."

Who else works here
This page describes three people in full, and it describes those three because their record is public and checkable. A name and a title on a company website is a claim about a person, so the sources are on the page next to the claim.
Our LinkedIn page is the live version of who is here. The roles we are actually hiring for are on the careers page, and they are the whole list: what is not there, we are not filling. There is a form now, and it takes about ten minutes. You can still write to us instead and say what you would build.
